nearly 100 minutes of twinkling looped guitars and sinuous echoes.

this album was recorded in a single two-and-a-half-hour take on august 28, 2019, and it has taken me this long (over four years!) just to edit it down into the nine tracks that we have here.

trinitapestry is treating the cosmos (and all the other possible cosmoses) as a massive tapestry, an exquisitely made wonder-work that we luckily glimpse a brief part of. to be in the spider's web here is not to be trapped in some isolated and dark cocoon awaiting death, but to be a spider, a weaver, to direct strands and change possibilities.

i briefly want to mention that the trinity i am referencing is not the classical (father, son, holy ghost) but rather the more encompassing (substance, subjectivation, healing connection) that is talked about at length in gabriel catren's book "pleromatica." i truly cannot conceive of a spirituality where the object of worship reflects gender, and bestows gender privilege.

spirituality is the healing act of re-connection::: not with some privileged thing like "mind," "body," "class," etc., but a diffuse re-connection with ALL the (infinite) attributes of our existence, and i will never tire of finding new ways to connect these attributes (to guitars, landscapes, loves, stitches, hopes, pages, delay machines, sorrows, angers, gods, jungles, dreams...)
